Agar Plates in Fridge - Did I mess up?
    #26457315 - 01/28/20 05:50 PM (4 years, 1 day ago)

So I did some agar work a couple days ago, including 6 different petri dishes with LCs, and 4 with spore syringes. After inoculation, I sealed with parafilm. Rather than leave the petri dishes near my grain jars and brf cakes, so they could grow, instead I put them directly into the fridge like an idiot. I know mycelium should be at 75-80 F to germinate/colonize, but was just being stupid and not putting 2 and 2 together I guess.. So anyways, they've been in the fridge for 3 days at this point, and obviously haven't seen any signs of growth.

Did I screw these up? Or will they be okay now that they are out of the fridge and under the correct conditions? The spore syringe ones, I'm sure are fine. The LC ones, I'm not positive. I would assume they are okay as well, because LC is stored in the fridge anyways, but wasn't sure if it is going to affect my petri dishes some other way at this point, so figured I would ask. Any input is appreciated.

Pull em out of the fridge. Should be good.

Mycelium endures cold in the wild all the time. You just slowed things down a bit.
