    #2645371 - 05/06/04 12:12 PM (20 years, 8 months ago)

so the water level in the terrarium should be about half as high as the perlite correct? am i supposed to mix the perlite with water before putting it in the chamber? then i add water?

dosn't matter just get it in there somehow and leave the water level a little below the perlite so it'll wick up water better and not make yer stuff float :stoned:

I have 9 cakes in a mid size rubbermaid tub and im having problems with getting the humidity high enough. I have little over 2 inches of perlite with about a 1/2 inch of water and the temps at about 72. I was thinking maybe i should raise the temp a little. Any help would be appreciated.

How much h2o2 should you put in the water for the perlite? Should you add peroxide to the water while dunking?

I just used distilled for dunking...I guess you need to use a 5% solution in your water for the fruiting chamber

Wet the pearlite first so it doesnt get dust all over and in your lungs.

Peroxide & Distilled Water????

Just dunk in normal tap water for 12 hours in the fridge. Always have for the past 10 years and never had a problem. Minds you, I'm in the U.K. Maybe U.S tap water has more added chemicals?

We have flouride too in tap water and trace amounts of chlorine, but  it's never been a problem.
