All they are is the syringe tip w/needle through the lid then it's siliconed a couple times. As long as the silicone job is good these stay clean. Only one I had go bad was bc there was a leak around the silicone. I cut the tip off the syringe cap to create a straw and the little plastic part that covers the mouth of the needle acts like a cap. I have a hole drilled w/mp tape for ge.

Ms to grain isn't a problem. It's spores to grain that are the issue. All my agar cultures start as multispore... Sporeprints that go to agar then to grain. Once I've grown a tub i select a mushroom to clone then it's not a ms. Multispore doesn't mean spore syringe to grain it just means that it's a mixed bag of genetics.
I hope that helps.

↑that lc is pan cyan which is part of why it looks that way. The other reason is there are tons of colonies there but they're all settled on top of each other. Cube lc syringe↓

Idk that it makes it grow faster but I'm able to mix it really well and I assume reoxygenate the water while the vortex spins. I like it bc I don't have to shake and risk getting my gas exchange hole wet. Sometimes I leave it running all day other times I just use it to break up the myc.
These are my go-to lc jars when I start a new strain bc I'm able to hook leurlock syringes to the top and make multiple lc syringes without having to open the LC. Once I got confident making lc I use jars, bottles, whatever I can find.

Little off topic but you ever fruit that GATZ culture?

No. Not yet. So my grow is in a building somewhere. I have the most automated fc ever and his only job is to make sure the fuckers running from 3-12. I check it personally twice a day. So unfortunately I tossed the gatz bc it should have fruited by now. But it is on the list, it was beautifull before my Martha wasn't running multiple days in a row. I had exposed grains bc it dried out and a bunch of things succumb to some kind of yellowish powder mold. Into the yard with you! Each time for him popping the fuse doing construction. Did not fruit it but loved what I saw on agar and grains.
