Some dumb acid thoughts
    #26453883 - 01/26/20 05:07 PM (4 years, 21 days ago)

This is a collection of some of the things I wrote down during my last (350ug) acid trip:

It’s unbelievable how much perspective changes things. All that shit I used to make fun of with glass half full is real. Something can be so bad and be so good just with perspective change'

All we ever crave is acceptance. the mind pursues pleasures and sees if they’re accepted to keep pursuing them, that’s how it goes through life

On a primal level humans are just driven by fear. We seek reward and are punished when we go too far in pursuit of whatever

Trying to understand yourself is like trying to understand the blueprint of an intricate prison. the only things you understand are what specific portions you can see using the tools the guards give you, so it's almost impossible to be allowed you to understand much of anything, and theres no way to look on in from the outside. The brain was not designed to perceive the world as it is but instead to trick you into thinking it is whatever is most conducive to your survival & reproduction.

The most uncomfortable reality is that no one knows anything

We don’t want to see good things bad because it ruins our image of them, it’s easier to see life so simple. We don’t want to see bad things good bc it reduces threat. so were stuck in our own worldview.

Acid introduces a little bit of division so mind and body aren’t one u can see where they diverge

I had thought recently that the most uncomfortable reality was that if time doesn’t exist then quite literally nothing really matters.

Nitrous talking I think :goat:

It must have made clear sense, and I think it is good you wrote it down, hopefully in a notebook with the date,,,
I experienced relaxed empathy working through the body in a similar way to how being accepted can feel, but it may mean something else when you are stoned again, and I am talking through my stoned mind
