Antibiotic streak plates are stalling but T1 not? *pics*

Hi there,
I have a cubes GT print and wanted to test my newly acquired antibiotic-agar (ready made agar with Glycosine). I streaked the spores with a swap onto the plates, which gave me some nicely spread cultures on the plate after 2-3 days.
I transferred some isolated cultures to MEA agar and they seem to grow extremely uniformly and nice/healthy.
However my initial streak-plates have pretty much stopped growing since I transferred those little culture spots away from them. It sits there with no growth whatsoever. Still looks like a week ago, albeit being in the same box with the T1 plates and hence under the exact same conditions. My temps in that room are around 77 Fahrenheit and they sit all together in a tote, which is kind of an "incubator" for me.
Any ideas on what the reason for this behavior could be?

This is one of the T1 plates:

Could it be that the different genetics on the germination plate, somehow cancel each others growth out or so?

The tranfers are doing good, thats all that really matters. T1 probably stalled due to contams.

T1 one is fine, T0 (germination Plate) is the one stalling. Also, I'm not here merely to grow mushrooms, learning why things happen is also important to me...so sorry but no, that's not all that really matters.
The thing here is, we have antibiotic agar (so contams, except mold are quite unlikely) where there was normal growth for 3 days. Then suddenly all 5 plates stalled whereas all the 15 plates taken from them grow perfectly without any contams. How can that be?

Sorry, meant T0. Now that I think about it, the issue might have to do with the antibiotic petris. Your transfers to regular MEA with no antiboitics are doing just fine so....
I admire your sand, however you're not going to be able figure out the how or why for everything. Sometimes trial and error is all you've got to work with. It would probably be wise to discontinue using the antibiotic petris you acquired, as performance of the culture is obviously hindered. If you inoculate those same petris again, and get the same result, well then thats where the problem is. Dont know why exactly, but who cares. Focus your energy on more important things like turning your culture into mushrooms.

I see your point. You're right with that. If nobody else has an idea, it remains just trial and error. I just thought maybe someone here may have had something similar happen to them or know of any reason...
I use the antibiotic agar (poured by myself, just the agar-mix is pre-made) only to germinate spores and then transfer to MEA/PDA, so I can roll out some of the bacterial contamination. So far the transfers look good, so I think this procedure works. I can live with the germination plates stalling, as long as the cultures grow. Still would be interesting to know why.
Thanks for your input man.

There is a wealth of information about antibiotics on this forum. Some may work better than others for certain species.
Good luck with your transfers. Stay thirsty!
