first time hearing this , so no shaking until separating all kernels ? but try and get chunks out ?

I guess I could see the difference being a big area of concentrated nutrition, but I thought the myc formed a big network to pass stuff around.

leaving chunks of spawn doesnt m,ake clusters. clusters are genetic. all the myc is connected and can transport nutes wherever theyre needed. clusters dont form because there is a chunk of grain underneath

That's good information, I've done the cheese grater method and will now have to try a larger chop. That picture is of some Cambodian Gold, I ate them fresh last night, good stuff.

Because i missed the LAGM2020 thread, had spores on agar before that date, started some after and not all of them germinated.

No, they dont, maybe if your spawn is very unhealthy and not fully recovering to form a full colony,. Clone a cluster, and give it good conditions and youβll get lots of clusters,
Clean spawn+ Good genetics+ good conditions= good flushes . Its as simple as that.

Spawned 1:1.5 and grain was broken up and mixed evenly throughout. 1400 wet gβs first flush from 4 lbs of grain. No clumps, all clusters

Here are some pics of APE MS I am starting on. I am going to clone and when I seen the fatty I was stoked but then thought what if I cloned the cluster would I get a bunch of clusters? Seems a fitting question due to the last couple of posts?
