Making deli plates. Please tell me where I goofed.

Hi folks,
I made plates with no pour method 10g agar 10g LME 500ml. Photo below, ignore the warped ones I had to put quart jars on top because they were floating and would’ve tipped. I didn’t have extra PC trays. I’m fixing that. As you can tell this is my first attempt.
My problem other than warping them is the amount of condensation. I let them sit in the PC for 24 hrs after pulling the weight and moving off the oven heat. Did I pull the weight too soon? Should I have left on the hot part of the stove? I used 2 layers of micropore in 1/4in holes on the sides. Should I be foil wrapping the tops or the entirety of the plates? Thanks dudes

You'll just need pp5 containers, those apparently are not if they're warping.
Mralien has a great thread now called the holy Grail of these things, check it out.

These are the exact ones recommended here from webrestaurantstore. It’s because there was weight of 2 quart jars on them.

I have 250 of these things I’d love to know how to avoid the condensation whether that’s changing my cool down or adding foil etc if someone can help troubleshoot.
Also, thanks trippy!

What the normal cool down process? Leave the weight on until pressure is low or pull it off and vent? I’d like to know which is preferable whether I have better containers or not.

they are pp5 you just pulled the weight off. the pressure DROPS faster in the pc than it does in the jars.

Thank you very much for the response. My guesswork was from seeing a lack of explanation in TEKs I’d looked at combined with assumptions from watching cooking shows...

No prob Bob. I appreciate the input either way. I’m just trying to get to canopies with less mistakes than I’ve made so far. I’m a huge attention to detail guy but there are tons I find out after the fact. It’s likely my fault for not knowing what to hone in on when I search or finding old advice that’s been improved over time etc. aiming to do some BOD’s coir tek monotubs and I really hope I don’t butcher something. First comes plates... I don’t dare straight up innoc my oat jars.

I use the same dishes, no warping here. They will dry out over a week or two, or when your in the SAB working with them, dump excess water out while it's open.

I was having trouble with the ones I had, the condensation was bringing in contamination from under the lid... I did manage to use a couple successfully, but not many.
So now I’ve got a few packs of the ‘holy grail’ on order. 😆

I just cover the tops with foil rather than wrap the whole thing, and I leave it on until Im using them.
I have a piece of a "cupcake tier" that does the job for weighing down the bottom layer and I can put more tubs on the top. A wire rack of some kind would work if you can find one that fits your PC.

The condensation can be a pain but it usually clears up eventually.

Maybe they are indeed pp5 but without a GE hole they will warp regardless. These one probably warped because of the lack of GE hole.
The holy grail petris on my signature don't need GE hole and won't warp either. I fully recommend them.

When PP is hot it can warp because it is a thermoplastic. These thin deli cups will warp if anything is on top of it during the pc cycle so only one layer. It will also warp during cool down if the cups do not have a GE hole on the lid because the hot agar will pull a vacuum inside the cups as it cools and it will suck the cups in if the lid is airtight. It looks like you had one or both of these happen.
If you want better heavy duty deli cups look for Karat brand injection molded deli cups they are the only heavy duty ones that actually have PP lids I have been able to find. They are much thicker and can take stacking at least one layer.
