Have you ever seen such blant agar plates?

Hello shroomery,

It seems like I'm unable to get rhizomorph from this mycelium AFTER transferring it.
This is how all my transfers look like.
Having this almost non-visible layer of mycelium I guess.

I'm using BRF Agar, with temps above 70.

The plate from which I took the transfer from look great tough (initiated from spores)

I'm puzzled, any hints ???

Big deal  rhizo is meaningless you just need healthy clean mycelium. Use less brf in your agar might help

Your germ plate has more rhizomorphs than I've seen across 8 different strains, in 5 generations of transfers

Ok, so I should just care about how it performs (which they do) and not care about the look, except for bacteria.
Btw thank you for taking your time to write up, share your knowledge and guide young Padawans like me.

It is, what I was trying to understand is why after the transfer, it doesn't keep rhizo, or at least developing in a more visible way.

Appearance or more correctly morphology on agar has a lot more to do with the agar recipe itself than any qualities of the culture.
