Mycelium vs trich on grain (with pics)

Ok, so I decided to try an experiment with some LC I had. Used small tubs for grain and u unsurprisingly I ended up with trich riddled tubs. Every single one. I think the grains were too wet and other unideal conditions. Anyway I haven't thrown out the jars yet. Some are just hopeless. I thought all of them would be, but some of the jars have a lot of white competing against the green. The pictures I will attach are of the best jar and the worst jar. The worst is completely green so just going to bin it. But the other, the mycelium seems to be coming back? I know it's likely not eating it as there doesn't appear to be any metabolites (At least not yellow) so my guess is the mycelium is growing over the top of the trich? Due to condensation when taking them out for the picture I can't show the best view of the myc but I am Interested as to thoughts on if the whitest jars could be Used If left long enough?
Thanks in advance

A little or a lot, if makes no difference. Trash em. For best results, work with spawn that is free of contams.

Ah well. Trash it is. Shame it can't be saved. Pretty cool that the white took over the green, I've enjoyed watching the competition.
I did start bigger jars with popcorn for grains and so far they seem to be going well. So far only 1 out of 3 is contaminated so that's better than my rye attempt

"Competition" Isn't a thing. Once a project is contaminated, Its fucked. It cannot be saved.
The only cure to contamination is prevention.

Yeah seems this is true. I kept them. Observed them. Some got really white just before a sharp turn in the opposite direction.
Luckily my GT on brf so far doesn't get contaminated.
I have also had better luck with popcorn instead of rye (when I say luck, 1st lot of 3 1 for contaminated. Second lot of 3 so far only one got contaminated...waiting on the others to see which way they will go. So a like 2 out of 6 popcorn jars got contam)
Is it best to just dispose of a contaminated tub as it is? Without opening it etc? I just want to make sure.

You can dump it outside, and clean the tub. Give it a good scrubbing with soap and water, then a wipe down with 70% Iso and its good to reuse.

Oh good. Yeah that's a better idea as I didn't want to waste the tubs or throw out a lot of plastic. Will make sure to give them all a damn good scrub. Thanks
