Stealth short-term drying/storage solution?

I have a dehydrator coming in the mail i a few days, but suddenly I have fruits ready to harvest. I am in a stealth situation, unfortunately, operating in a closet without power. So, my plan was to bust out the dehydrator during the day when family is out of the house. Suddenly I have a few mushrooms ready and I suspect there will be more over the weekend.
Is there a way I can store them temporarily just so that they wont be ruined over the weekend? I know that desiccant chamber isn't good for fresh shrooms, and I don't have one anyways, but is there something I can do?
Any advice much appreciated!!

Put them in a paper bag and hide them in the back of the fridge... I’d write “Australian red top oysters” or something on bag just in case
Or just eat em

Air dry for now... with a fan and space heater? It's only a few fruits.
Or I second eating them. Freshies are the besties!

Update:
By the time I got back home, they almost all had broken their veils! It happened in like 3 hours. So, I floated the substrate and harvested it all. They look healthy and the places where I broke off the mushrooms were immediately very blue.
Now I have my drying crisis I have people around tonight, so the best I could do was to spread them out on a paper towel and put them in a cardboard box, open, on a shelf in the closet. Not much air movement in there. Tonight I'll have to figure something out but I am not sure what to do.
Still, I am proud of my first harvest! Check it out

Put them in a paper bag in a thermos or lunchbox or something with a frozen water bottle.
They’re supposed to be good in a paper bag in the fridge for at least a week so it seems like they’d prob survive just in a bag in your drawer for a couple days.
Those are some good lookin shrooms man good job. What kind?

Just of of curiosity, what is the benefit of the fridge? It seems like a very humid place, so isn't that the opposite effect?

The cold slows everything down.
Idk where you’re at but my place is super dry and if I leave shrooms out even for a few hours they start to dry up. I really think they’ll be fine if you can dry them in a couple days.
Or there’s always the middle of the night sneak and oven dry.
