Yellowing on San Pedro cutting (pics) * 1
    #26449873 - 01/24/20 12:09 PM (4 years, 23 days ago)

I cut these about 2 weeks ago. I noticed this yellowing now as I was going to plant them. I kept them stacked in an unsealed plastic bag until now.

Should I still plant them or should I cut these tips and wait another few weeks.

Its not rotting, the color just threw me off.

He then ran naked around the house, attempted to get Kruschev and Kennedy on the telephone and announced to the operator that he was God."

I would cut the yellow tips off about an inch away then plant them. I planted some last year that didn't look to good on the bottoms but now they have taken off tremendously.

Recut all the ends a inch above the discoloration of those cuttings or they are probably going to grow mold and start rotting. The problem is probably from  putting them in a bag, they need to be left uncovered in a dry, shady place that gets good air flow so they can make a callus. It might help if u put them in front of a fan for a few days to help callus after you cut them again.

It doesn't matter of it was open or not, plastic and moisture WILL lead to mold, fungus, and rot, every time, on seeds too. I had to be reminded of that when I bagged up squash seeds that I THOUGHT were totally dry. Re-cut all of the ends and use dustable sulfur, dry them properly by a fan, inside on a table, or in a drying house. Keep out of direct sunlight.

You got good advice above.  One other thing you could consider is a rooting hormone. I would cut above the yellow maybe an inch or so then dust the cut with a safe organic hormone - Indole-3-butyric acid - let it sit for a day or two (out of the sun) then plant. Just be sure anything you use is safe for the use you intend:  https://www.ams.usda.gov/sites/default/files/media/Indole%203%20Butyric%20Acid%202009%20Petition.pdf
