First time shoeboxes. Need advice

Hy, it's my first grow and I've read a lot about proper surface conditions but I've also read that it's not ok to mist before a fully colonized substrate. Both shoeboxes were spawned 14 days ago in a monotub with restricted fae (2 layers of micropore tape) Any thoughts ? Should i start mysting any of them ? Namaste

Looks good from here.. the little beads of moisture never really start forming on mines until it has full coverage.. that's usually when I decide if it needs a mist or not..
And I don't think misting before full colonization is a problem.. if you know it needs it give it some water.. but other than that, I would just let it ride for now

So I messed up the proper surface condition and my first box has a lot of side and under pins and only 2 little ones on top. What should I do? Should i try remove the substrate from the box and fruit it as a cake ? any thoughts?

I think i will give it a try and fruit it as a cake, i'm still not sure if i should turn it upside down and if I don't, should i try to remove those little bottom fruits?

It's pretty easy to get it back to proper surface conditions just mist til it looks good on the surface.. mush love water.. the next flush should be better if it's properly hydrated.. If the bottom fruits look like they won't reach fresh air and fully develop I would consider picking them

Thank you! I guess the main problem is that the shoebox i used doesn't have flat sides and bottom. I will try to pick bottom fruits and try to fruit it like this
