HELP!! LOL
I'm going to be focusing all my efforts on my agar work this year and will need my own thread because I get so lost trying to keep up with the other agar threads due to the shear volume of questions and answers.
ALL I ASK IS THAT YOU PLEASE USE THE QUOTE FEATURE WITH EVERY REPLY SO I KNOW WHAT PLATE YOU ARE REFERRING TO
Please forgive the poor photo quality at the moment better agar is on the way 😎👍👍
You guys are awesome and I thank you in advance for any and all help.

Best foot forward...
I was harvesting some PE6 a while back and had spore covered gloves so I said why not do a thumb print on agar to see what would happen. I had lots of black specks and white specks all over and I grabbed a white one asap and this is my results of my T1
New lighting and agar will help very soon with Picts.
Can you see anything bad? Where should I grab from?
I'm thinking 1 and 3 are good candidates

Let it fruit in dish, then take the little mushroom as a transfer. This will save you much time trying to isolate culture. Here's a example of what it looks like second transfer on my dish. https://files.shroomery.org/files/20-004/978863923-20200119_090303.jpg

The picture is a little blurry but 1 and 3 look great to me, another day or two will give you a better idea!

Thanks for the info guys. Much appreciated.
Will post more Picts of other plates soon. They are much worse but Definitely worth a shot for my beginner efforts for practice anyway.
More to come ...

First official PE6 clone as guided by CBK
Split stipe up to cap and dug out 2 pieces.

EDIT See how I did that everyone... If this doesn't work I can blame CBK 🤣😆😛

Just cut anywhere. Save the plate tho. Soon it will pin and you can grab some easy clones

Yeah def keep the old plate for pin clones, I made many and they are usually very rhizomorph looking on the plates and very easy to isolate

if it were me doing three transfers i’d do these:

someone else might prefer others but that well differentiated band from 7:30ish-9 o’clock would be a winner from just about everywhere on it i think

I did 2 of those and 1 different. This pict in different light and 3 days later showed something in one of these spots.
Got my new overhead light now and can see things better 👍
