Yeah I definitely want to get into making my own - along with mead and hard cider. How was the rootbeer batch? I can't say I'd go with that myself, but it sounds intriguing

If you need that endorphin rush just do like my buddy and hork some ghost pepper powder, that will get you going.

Aged 4 years.
4 years old because it tasted so rough young.

What did you try to brew?
I think mead is probably the easiest thing to do. I'm not a huge fan of sweet wine unfortunately, and most mead I've tasted tastes like straight up juice.
But I am gonna try and make my own viking blood this weekend, so we'll see how it goes(in a few months).

Wheat beer got me into brewing.
I got hooked on imported German Weiss beer.
And found that at 1/10 the cost I made a pretty good copy with Alexanders extract and a little pellet hops.
Now I am over the top, all grain brewing 15 gallons at a time. keg fridge always tapped.
