Trying to grow pholiota nameko

Hey guys.
I've started up a nameko grow, but i can't really get them to fruit. I have my bags in a mini GH right now, but what have formed is these blobs and nothing else. They're grown on supplemented sawdust and a 5 lb bags.
Are the blobs a sign of that they are pinning soon or what does it tell?
Hope some of you know! Thanks.

Haven't mastered it myself but Amanita virosa has some good advice. Rest of the thread is good too.

Thanks, i'll have a look at the thread.
For now i have cut four bags open, and i've cut the top of one of the blocks just to see what happens.
The rest of my bags are in a cold room for the next couple of weeks. I guess i'll just have to wait and see

It's a bit hard to see, so Im not sure, but compare the blobs to Mycogone perniciosa.

The orange "jelly " is a good sign in nameko, I've grown some in mono tubs, but the best results I've had with them buried outside , they fruited in late autumn, they like high humidity and rly low temperatures

Apparently it is Mycogone perniciosa like DutchMyco suggested.
This link explains it pretty good.
Now im just worried about spores in my GH. Although it seems that only bags where i used an unknown sawdust from fuelpellets is contaminated. These bags also only got 1,5 hours in the PC, and they should have had 2,5 hours.

Ah, how strange looking! Now that I look at that link I think I may have grown that a couple times

Did it give you any further trouble? Nothing to see on the other blocks though.

Nah it didn't seem to spread at all, I think it happened when I didn't properly pasteurize...

I was planning to give nameko a try on logs this spring! All the stuff I have been reading about them says they need the colder weather to fruit, so maybe a cold-shock would help?
What did you use for spawn and about how long did your blocks take to colonize?

Glad to hear that. Improper pasteurization seems to be the reason.

I recently found something about them needing to be at a raipening stage for about 50 days so i'm guessing that's why they aren't fruiting yet.
I useed grains for spawn and oak and wheat bran for substarte. They took about 3 weeks to fully colonize. I've placed them at about 20 celcius for ripening so from here on it's just waiting.

Whoah that is a long time. They are such a fun-looking and tasty mushroom so it is worth it. I have not met many people who grow them so this is pretty dope. I really hope it is successful!
I am going to try them on new maple logs and some older logs that did not take from a previous inoculation. Those older logs are in the 25-50 cm range and so the plan is to over-inoculate with sawdust spawn and then drop them into the ground a little as borders for my other wood chip beds and garden. I have read that they appreciate that soil contact and so maybe I will get lucky come fall.
