Hi there Everyone, peace and love and I appreciate you all in advance.
This is my first attempt in this body vehicle, inoculated PE6 spores into some potato broth, honey agar recently and did both pour and no pour, pressure cooked for 33 minutes and used a SAB to do all the magic in...know this might not seem like necessary to some people (preference, beliefs and all) I then saged the space I was working in. A couple of days later there was activity in the plates and I wanted your advice on what was growing in the plates, is it PE6 mycelium or a type of mould.
Again thank you.xxxx

The pictures could be better - if you could post a closeup with a better lighting ( shining over the place instead of through it) that would help.
Apart from that I don't see anything obviously wrong with the plates - if this is not mold you are growing, the growth looks almost way too good for the first stage of multi spore inoculation. I'd expect to see some clusters of small mycelium growth instead of one centralised but that may depend on how the spores were streaked on the plate.

Bless up brother for taking your time to reply, I really appreciate that
I've taken (what I think are) better pictures of some of the plates.
I used an inoculation loop too scoop spores from the print and just dropped the spores in the plates. Also it's been nine days since inoculation.

(the last one has some contam growing so I'll clean it today)

Take pictures with the light facing down on top of the plate, Not light coming through the bottom of the plate. Can’t see nothing with those pictures.

That is not looking like a very healthy mycelium growth - seems rather fluffy and there are no rhyzomorphic style strands at all (at least can't see in the picture). But that could be normal for PE6 or the first MS inoculation - I lack experience as I have never seen a MS inoculation that is grouped this nicely instead of a bunch of smaller clusters.
Other than that if it really it PE6 myc, the plates look clean and I would personally think about transferring to a new plate ASAP to make sure it is clean and definitely myc, not mold.

I was able to get a hold of the Vendor and they said thats how it's supposed to look like. Another interesting thing I'd want to throw out there is I soaked some garlic in the honey I used for the agar, thought it wouldn't hurt. It didn't. I'll compare it to one that doesn't have garlic to see if it actually helps.
