 Chlorine smell in sgfc?

Today I re-wetted my perlite and added 2 new cakes to my sgfc. A few hours later I lift the lid and it has a chlorine/chemical smell. What do?
The cakes were dunked for 24 hours and rolled in verm FYI.

Ive been stoned and sprayed one pump of alcohol over a tub hopefully U didn't do that with bleach lol

Nope, definitely water :P
I'm hoping it's just normal mushroom smell and I'm just not used to it -shrug-

Mushrooms dont smell like bleach...ever. tap water does though depending on the area. My tap smells like pool water sometimes.

Maybe it was your tap water?
I would rinse out your entire SGFC (take cakes out of course) outside or in the shower to get rid of the smell.

Yes. If you have city water that's what I'd bet the smell is. When. I'm at work filling sinks up it smells like the YMCA pool. Fucking city water man.

I'm fine with the smell so long as it's not hurting anything. Doesn't sound like it will.
