For most of the normies out there, an operating system is just a bootloader for Google Chrome.

Since Disney has obtained tremendous value from the public domain, knows how important the public domain is, and is firmly determined to never contribute anything to it.

My pronouns are He and Him, and my adjectives are Fat and Jazzy

Also what you're describing with suppressing thoughts is meditation. Some meditation is different, but zen meditation and most of the other major ones focus on suppressing thought like you're talking about.

Meditation is never about suppressing thoughts. It's about simply observing what's going on without getting seduced by thoughts and avoiding being sucked into the whirlpool of attachment and cognitive story telling. It's the attachment and identification to our thoughts and story narratives that keep us awake at night. Learning to let go of attachment to thoughts is a skill that requires diligence and hard work. Most of us are lazy and would prefer to take a pill.
