Where I'm at it's pretty much standard to avoid giving antipyretics for fever under 103 if under 60 or under ~102 if over 60. I don't mean to come across as a knowitall, I know you're very bright and capable, but the fever itself can reduce the length of time you're ill, and the meds can interfere with liver/kidney function and worsen any clotting/endothelial disorders you may develop in response to the infection.

I called Labcorp last week and scheduled a Covid-19 IgG antibody test for June 2. I did have to pay 10 bucks but well worth in. And yea, I use my pulse oximeter every day (30 dollars, free delivery from Amazon) but I mainly got it in case I feel lightheaded or have real trouble breathing.
Last summer when I was recovering in hospital from triple bypass and collapsed lung surgery, they wouldn't even let me out of bed if my oxygen level was less than 94 or 95... I forget which. With my asbestosis, COPD and cirrhosis I'd like to know what level of protection I need to be practicing if I haven't been exposed yet.
On a side note I tried to give blood at Red Cross(with an appointment) a few weeks ago and they said I'm ineligible because I admitted to using IV drugs 35 years ago.
Stay safe and be well everyone.

This rule made sense 20 years ago when AIDS testing wasn't like it is now. The Red Cross seriously needs to take another look at some of their rules. If they did, I bet we would never have a blood shortage again.

No no I didn’t take it that way at all. Just meant to say I’m not worried due to my living situation for the next month or so. I hadn’t mentioned anything to them yet because frankly I had no idea what was going on & chalked it up to allergies or something. There will be a chat had soon enough. Being so weak for 3 days str8 with soreness and other symptoms that doesn’t respond well to Tylenol & Loratadine (which in the past do the trick) had me concerned though. Also, I appreciate all you’ve shared since the pandemic started . I will hold off on the acet.

China says the covid outbreak did not originate at the wet market, and that it spread there via human to human transmission. Wouldn’t be surprised that one of these animal dealers dealt with someone who got infected by bats and they caught it and spread it

I don’t think biting is how a respiratory virus gets spread. A bite would likely not result in infection.

A virus that attacks every organ in your body, including the skin, wouldn't spread via a bite?

Damn, I missed out for a bit. You keep harping that I called China "savages", and I've been rereading so confused as to what the hell you are talking about.
I actually said:
Quote:
I"m lambasting your portrayal of the Chinese populace as noble savages.
which I guess was outside your parlance. The noble savage is a literary term, with much more context than the simple word savage.
But it really let you build a strawman to argue with, lol
(not to mention that I said your portrayal, you know we are not the same person right?)
