Just not sure why tho Saskatchewan is having issues in Northern communities now, which was projected before reopening took place and is not surprising but Manitoba is right in the middle of the country, between Ontario and Saskatchewan, with all sorts of through traffic but it blew right over the province
Québec became a real shit show tho; honestly unclear on why things exploded so badly there my personal attribution is a more strongly "European" culture of casual interpersonal connection (cheek kiss is popular as a hello/good bye) and foot-traffic lifestyle, rather than a compartmentalization in to cars and isolated travel
Saskatchewan is arguably the most interesting contrast in the country

every other hot spot is a high population area -- Calgary in Alberta and Montréal in Québec most notably the Northern Saskatchewan outbreak is in small communities tho all north of the 'heavily' populated areas

Clutching your chest/neck and failing to breath properly is scary as shit - and if you reflexively freak out or try and scream you just exacerbate the situation, and when you realize you can’t even do that it’s terrifying.
Thank god and man for what we have to effectively deal with it nowadays.

though the fact that the virus has been breaking out in food processing facilities that mimic winter makes me believe that its seasonal.

Québec got the COVID19 from New York, I heard.
They had an outbreak in a company working in both places.
I should find the link.

Calgary is full of assholes, I was standing outside liquor store last weekend waiting for the number of people inside to drop below 5, and people would just blaze past me, not ask if I was waiting or if this was a line, walk in and crowd the place out more. Calgary is spread out as fuck, and our public transit trains are practically empty, I don't understand how we continue to be a hotspot. It has to be the attitude here. The whole rest of the province is being re-opened, its like we failed grade 12 and get to watch our friends graduate from afar.

There's only one word to describe how the USA has done, from the very start, when it comes to this pandemic, and that is; SHIT.
I mean seriously, what a godawful, goddamned, godforsaken clusterfuck.
It's really, really, really sad.

Only really familiar with what's going on over here on the east coast. There's a little over 96k dead right now. Daily cases in the hard hit North East are consistently trending down, slowly but surely. The South is going in the other direction unfortunately. I am hoping the supply chain has stabilized, so that the south doesn't go through medical supply and ppe shortages. I feel like we will be seeing more evidence of emerging hot spots, and rural hospitals with limited resources are going to be dealing with this more and more, so I definitely feel like this is a bit of a false sense of a security. But I do feel like masks and social distancing works and that's a solid path forward for reopening things in a safe and steady way.
My state is partially reopened, and just gave the okay to sell curbside cocktails woohoo!! Drive in movie theaters, golfing, disc golfing, drive in concerts, and every kind of outdoor recreational activity available is all very popular. Everyone wears a mask inside. My dad was in Lowe's the other day and almost spoke up to a guy who walked in without a mask, only to be beat to it by another guy standing in line who roasted this guy until he just walked out. My parents live in a red area of PA, and someone will still put your ass in it's place for not wearing a mask, because this virus transcends political lines and it hit this area hard as well. I expect we'll be seeing a lot of 180's on mask wearing in due time.
Right now our daily case count is ticking up, as to be expected with reopening in any capacity, but overall, it's trending down. 1 in 4 people who presented for testing were testing positive last week in my county, and we have to get below a 3% rate before we can really start reopening, but overall things are looking up.

You're so edgy.
The doctors and scientists who are clearly saying that transmissions are largely not happening outside in open air environments?
Yeah, I'll continue listening to them.

So y'all are getting tested on a regular basis and are aware of and regularly monitoring potential for asymptomatic spread?

ehhhh, it seems as tho Bodhi went and sat down in the smart people part of town to take a picture of them
so it is likely that they all have such circumstances in their lives but have not been given reason to presume Bodhi does as well
so difficult to say an y'all that includes the poster
