Executive branch agencies run by trump appointees. The head of respiratory diseases at the CDC warned of the imminent danger of covid. She was silenced by trump. The cdc stopped tracking testing after the numbers made trump look bad. There have been other experts silenced or fired because trump didn’t like hearing bad news.

Quote:
President Trump nearly fired a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) official after she said in February that the agency was preparing for a pandemic, according to The Wall Street Journal.
"It's not a question of if this will happen but when this will happen and how many people in this country will have severe illnesses," Nancy Messonnier, the director of the CDC's National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, said on Feb. 25.
According to the Journal, Trump was angry with Messonnier after her statement resulted in a dip in the stock market. The same day, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said the virus was "contained" in the U.S.
The next day Trump repeatedly said he did not think an outbreak was "inevitable" and appointed Vice President Pence as the head of the administration's coronavirus task force.
The experts aren’t the problem. The problem is their idiot boss

If you don't like the passport I am sure we can put the vaccine refusers on some sort of leper island too.
If you are vaccinated, how is the unvaccinated person a threat to you?
Because they can still spread the virus! Just because some one is vaccinated doesn't mean they are 100% immune to whatever they got vaccinated for. The whole point of vaccinations is to improve one's odds of fighting off a particular virus/bacteria. If a vaccinated person gets the virus and they are unable to fight it off quickly then they probably also can then spread the virus.
If there are a bunch of unvaccinated people running around the city spreading their virus because they are too stupid to get vaccinated then odds are that they will even eventually spread it to even vaccinated people.
Vaccination science is super basic. The more people who get vaccinated then the better chance of everyone staying healthy.
Nah, there's plenty of vaccinations that impart full lifetime immunity. There's others that impart full immunity for a period of time but need periodic boosters (like tetanus). Maybe you are focusing on the flu vaccine is which is kind of a gamble since they guess which strain will be prevalent.
Can you provide some examples of vaccinations that offer 100% immunity to whatever pathogen they are made for? Your logic makes no sense. If the COVID19 vaccine offers 100% immunity, then great! But, most likely it won't offer 100% immunity, which means that we need to get everyone vaccinated so we don't let stupid people walk around unvaccinated and spread the virus. I'm not talking about the flu at all, why are you bringing it up? We are talking about COVID19.

I'm sure it's frowned upon in China. I also cut my hand with rust so I think I need a tetnis shot.

For the first time since this started, New York didn’t have the most deaths today. Pennsylvania and New Jersey both had more deaths.

Rust does have something to do with tetanus, actually:
"Although rust itself does not cause tetanus, objects that accumulate rust are often found outdoors or in places that harbor anaerobic bacteria. Additionally, the rough surface of rusty metal provides a habitat for C. tetani, while a nail affords a means to puncture skin and deliver endospores deep within the body at the site of the wound.[24] . . . Hence, stepping on a nail (rusty or not) may result in a tetanus infection, as the low-oxygen (anaerobic) environment may exist under the skin, and the puncturing object can deliver endospores to a suitable environment for growth."

Well yeah those cars, they can't get out I meant the worker's cars. No reason for them to be inside the taped off area other than to save themselves a few seconds of walking.

lifeiswhatyoumake said: We are talking about COVID19.
https://www.publichealth.org/public-awareness/understanding-vaccines/vaccines-work/
"HOW VACCINES WORK A vaccine works by training the immune system to recognize and combat pathogens, either viruses or bacteria. To do this, certain molecules from the pathogen must be introduced into the body to trigger an immune response.
These molecules are called antigens, and they are present on all viruses and bacteria. By injecting these antigens into the body, the immune system can safely learn to recognize them as hostile invaders, produce antibodies, and remember them for the future. If the bacteria or virus reappears, the immune system will recognize the antigens immediately and attack aggressively well before the pathogen can spread and cause sickness.
The Herd Immunity Imperative Vaccines don't just work on an individual level, they protect entire populations. Once enough people are immunized, opportunities for an outbreak of disease become so low even people who aren't immunized benefit. Essentially, a bacteria or virus simply won't have enough eligible hosts to establish a foothold and will eventually die out entirely. This phenomenon is called "herd immunity" or "community immunity," and it has allowed once-devastating diseases to be eliminated entirely, without needing to vaccinate every individual."
https://medlineplus.gov/ency/article/002224.htm
"Antigen An antigen is any substance that causes your immune system to produce antibodies against it. This means your immune system does not recognize the substance, and is trying to fight it off.
An antigen may be a substance from the environment, such as chemicals, bacteria, viruses, or pollen. An antigen may also form inside the body."
If you wanna get a Covid19 vaccine, you're gonna have to get Covid19. That's how vaccines work.
Inject a small amount of a virus so as to not overwhelm an immune system, giving it a chance to fight off whatever was injected.
Vaccines are certainly not simple science, if they were, we wouldn't have to work on development for years and years.
Herd immunity is much simpler than vaccines, as it is how we have delt with viruses since our existence. Vaccines only give more people viruses so that herd immunity is reached faster because people are voluntarily infecting them selves instead of waiting to catch it elsewhere.
We have fucked with herd immunity by locking everyone down and will be forced to manage even more illness and death due to weak immune systems. If nothing were done, like Sweden, we would be on a downsloap by now.

I brought up the flu because flu vaccines exist. You ask me to provide examples of vaccines in one breath and critique me for bringing up a vaccine in the next.
No one has ever created a vaccine for a coronavirus before so we don't know.
