Oh no doubt. Considering this country is supposed to be the greatest, as felt by many who live here and may developing countries who want to experience its like, it has been handled atrociously.
I'm in daily contact with about a dozen people in England and they're just dealing with it. None of the complaints and uprisings and obstrufication that are so rife here.

CFR < 0.4%
How is my prediction wrong when we still have no idea what the CFR but we do know that in hard hit areas the mortality rate is already over .2% like New York City.
The mortality rate for covid in NYC is .22% with an estimated 21% infection rate
That puts the CFR at over 1%
BTW the NY serosurvey was not a random sample. It was advertised on the radio to come get a free antibody test, so it is even hard to make any claims about using their results as a representative sample of the entire population.

NYC has one of the highest life expectancies in the United States. About 3 years longer than the national average
NYC has a higher life expectancy than every state except Hawaii, California and New York

So? I know that is already taking into account infant mortality, but keeping cancer and heart disease patients limping along until the inevitable has nothing to do with pathogens.
If life expectancy is so great, how do you reconcile that with the statement that NYC is having people drop like flies from a virus while most other locations in the US don't have any significant issue?

You’re the one who claimed New York is infested with disease on a good day. The data says otherwise.

I thought it was well known that high density areas of population have larger issues with disease.
Not to mention that disease and death are not synonyms.
I'm sure the trash piles in the streets are great for hygiene...

About an hour long, if you dare.

Well now you know better. NYC residents live six years longer than people in West Virginia.

Comparing a city to a state, huh?
