You did not just suggest buying a bulk chemical of undetermined purity for self-administered IV injection? You didn't, right?
I suggested nothing. I merely pointed out a set of facts. As I stated I will certainly not be shooting myself up with random vitamin c from amazon but.... dig around online. Theres a shocking numberof folks who do exactly this
Ps you and I both know half of the people here have shot up much sketichier powders than ascorbic acid
I'm not saying it doesn't work it probably does help but if you dig around online you can also find a shocking amount of people that put needles through their penises but I'm not doing that either. Shooting up in general though id be dead on my current addiction if I ever shot up plus I fucking hate needles.
Side question when you put a needle into a vein does part of your skin get injected into your blood stream? How does the body still function with tons of holes in the veins or even collapsed veins?

I love the positive news. It is so rarely heard. It shows that a very healthy person has a good chance of getting this and recovering and going on with life.
*and a $100k hospital bill fornthe seven days you spent in the ICU.
25% of cases require hospitalization in total. 10% of people under 18 require hospitalization. The doom and gloom is quite necessary to get people to take this seriously.
My cousin who spent 4 nights in the hospital for it will likely never pay off her medical debt in her life, just from those 4 nights, from a viral pandemic that her government did absolutely nothing to protect her from (she caught it right before the shut down). Meanwhile she can't afford her house payment because her small business has been ordered shut by the government (leading to uncertainty about the future of her business as well).
Not to mention any long-term damage that the virus did to her lungs and other organs while she was sick, and the PTSD from being in the war zone of hospital she was in and not knowing whether she'd live or die, unable to take a full breath for a week.
"Recovery" isn't really the right word for this shit. For a lot of people, "Victim" would be more appropriate.

I got this from my insurance company. Now, I got one less thing to worry about.

Just posting facts. Don't get upset!
Colours, you are nothing but a straight up troll in this thread. You used gaslighting three times in your short post I quoted above. 1. "keep melting" 2. "I just made one post about democrats and people start crying." 3. "Don't get upset!"
This means all you are doing is trolling because you're trying to provoke reactions. It's pathetic and not a helpful way forward in this thread.
Feevers isn't "melting" at all. For some reason when some one starts talking the truth and reality to you you interpret it as "melting." This is a big disadvantage for you when it comes to communicating with others because it doesn't allow you to reasonably consider their ideas and it makes you an ignorant fool. No one is "crying." You're just trying to create an illusion that they are so it makes you look better, which is such an elementary tactic and one that you need to grow up from. Feevers is right. You are wrong, Colours. If anyone is upset in this conversation it is you, Colours. Just relax, man, everything is going to be okay.
Can someone ban Colours from this thread?

Perhaps the same government constantly skewing the statistics and quarantine methods should cover her medical bills.
See this is what I see. I see people glued to a tv constantly watching jumping changing facts and totally missing out on how half assed a quarantine is all the credit Dr. Faucci is taking for fixing things as they are no one seeing countries with much more efficient quarantine and healthcare methods almost out of this and missing that 2 months ago Dr. Fauci advised against the travel ban.
Our government is run by monkeys doing a worst job that most countries governments in 3rd world regions. Why can't the $2 trillion cover her hospital bills?
Why should I trust the same government that cannot get straight facts on a daily basis to handle a quarantine and economoc recovery? As usual the government fucks things up then does practically nothing then takes all the credit for fixing things that are not even fixed.

That's awesome to see, hopefully other insurers follow suit.

When I was a kid I think I listened to that album for an entire summer. Like that was the one and only CD I listened to. For 3 or 4 months. Hell it may have been longer.

There are a lot of people on this site who not only don’t have insurance, they are proud of it.
I wonder how XUL is doing. Peaceful segregation doesn’t sound so bad anymore.

Here in the Netherlands the medical consensus seems to shift towards the following:
Obesity and more specifically belly fat seems to be a good indication of how serious you will be effected. Hospitals are reporting between 80%-100% of Corona IC patients to obese
The difference between men and women in the ICU's correlates very neatly with the ratio pear vs apple shaped between males/females. Men tend to be more apple shaped obese versus women who are more pear shaped obese. The more apple shaped you are, the greater the risk of ending up on the IC.
The virus seems to interact with the fatty tissue adding to the infection. People with an excess of gut fat also appear to have a weakened immune system cause its constantly dealing with the negative effects of the obesity itself
