I got a month long ban. I have to be careful what I post because certain members of staff keep their nose up my butt.

Hmmm, a nose up the butt doesn't sound too bad though, lol! I've been trying to keep some levity in here. CHEERS! Hope all is well there.

It makes it hard to walk. I wish it was ok, but I’m in the middle of the pandemic.
Personally I think I had covid in January already.

Yeah, me too. In Nov/Dec 2019 the mate and I had some really weird dry cough, couldn't taste or smell food, and it felt unlike any other cold we ever had. Lasted a month or so too. I'm strangely hoping we had it and are more immune to this kind.

All the friends around us got sick within a couple weeks. IDK, maybe it was a form of it. Hopefully it made us more immune? IDK. No one was hospitalized or died thank goodness, and all the friends we have now are seemingly keeping safe and healthy.

Mate got the flu shot too. I did not. He has respiratory issues and had to go to the ER early this year at the tail end of the cold/sickness to get respiratory treatments because he could not catch his breath. I'm very worried he might get this covid19 thing, but it could easily get/kill me too even though I have no health issues.

I would of gotten it during christmas with my family. It hit slow, just when I thought I was getting better it hit hard. It kicked in new years day. I had night sweats, high fever, dry cough, and I was coughing up phlem in buckets. I was keeping a beer can spitoon next to my bed because I was waking up choking on the phlem.
It was gross.

If it traveled to 10 people then it has the chance to spread to 55k, where the flu could have only infected 130. You would have killed a lot of people before the outbreak began.

The difference between a 1.3 ro and and 2.2 ro is 10 people and 55,000 people? Wow my math was way off. Thanks for the correction.

I stated I "think" I had it or some form of it, I will never know. I'm just taking precautions and the mate is too. Stay safe, sane, and healthy out there people.

There's lots of dumb doctors out there. Lots more smart ones. But it seems people like to pay attention to the idiot fringe most of the time
I have never heard of a doctor prescribing iv vitamin c for a viral illness until now. I dont think the doctors doing it are dumb. I think they are desperate. Seems they started doing it just to see if they could shorten hospitalization but discovered the effect on treating respiratory distress to be more significant than anticipated. And from the reports I am hearing from the nursing community, it is working for a decent number of people. Idk anything about linus pauling or what he claimed I am literally just telling you guys that docs who have never done so are currently writing scripts for massive boluses of vc and the nurses who are with the patients constantly are reporting significant improvement with many of them. Nurses have no agenda to push with this. Some are definitely kind of dumb but when you have many people saying the same thing...

Not Covid
I will repeat this again. If you were sick with anything before February, it was not covid. Simply not possible.

In February, the lady who sits next to my office had a cough that sounded like a cheese grater. Then she had a fever for 3 days of 102º-103º. She continued to come into work much against our protests that she stay home. She was allowed to work from home, so we couldn't figure out why she kept wanting to come in.
Near the end of February, I woke up on a Monday feeling like I drank 3 bottles of bourbon the night before. Exhausted, headache, everything hurt, no fever. On Wednesday, still had that headache, but then I got dizzy spells like I shotgunned 8 shots of liquor and tried to stand up. Friday, I had a dry, scratchy throat and a mild cough...a bit more than a smokers cough but not bad. After a week, I was fine. She told me her Dad had the same exact symptoms a week later.
Maybe I'll never know if that was mild coronavirus, but I'm still not taking any chances.
By the way...as of today, that lady STILL has that cough like a cheese grater.

My wife has a cough she can't shake. Its going on 2+ weeks now. Urgent care said it was a sinus infection 2 weeks ago, which it was but her cough still sounds horrible.
