A little off topic, but pay attention to cryptocurrency.
China is a major factor, and with this virus going around, BTC could be seeing some substantial gains, especially with a halfing coming up in May.

A little more off topic, but your use of "a little off topic" was the best use of that phrase I've ever encountered.

It's not off topic, all those people are sick and dying and their Bitcoins will be forever lost and stuck in wallets. Thus driving the price higher!!!

I feel bad for the the things I said earlier in this thread. This thing is getting pretty scary. What's then general bunker/sealed area protical in these parts?
You know besides food/water

I feel bad too, windex. I was laughing earlier at some of the jokes but just saw where the death toll is up around 100

People, lets keep this ontopic.
Official count was 2778 yesterday, today its 4474. Death count was 81 yesterday, is 107 today.
There has been a confirmed case in Germany, among other places.

Yesterday's news said two confirmed cases in Canada and 19 under investigation. So it could either stay relatively quiet here or start ballooning over the next couple days . I bet there's a lot of people out there out don't know they have it, especially in China or other third world countries where it's not that uncommon to be kinda sick due to the environment/food

Scary.
Also scary is the confirmed case in Ivory Coast, first confirm in Africa. This is scary as in Africa medical care is exceptionally bad so it could spread like wildfire there and from there, vector with travellers and refugee streama. Africa too has a very large diaspora, like China.
It struck at the manufacturing base of the world, spread to the primary consumer bases and now strikes out at the primary source of resources and raw material.
God is not kidding about shutting down our capacity to carry on environmental destruction levels.
For those who missed it: Coronavirus in essence is a family of virii that cause "the common cold". SARS and MERS had the lethality but not the infectiousness. While probably not as LETHAL as SARS, this one has both high lethality and high infectiousness.
It literally spreads like the common cold because its the common cold on steroids.
Almost all the people who got sick still ARE sick, but whats worrying is that Deaths outnumber Cures by 107 to 63. We don't know HOW lethal it would be but this is bad news. Were this a "common" common cold you'd have like 1-2 deaths in 4474, not 107.
Sri Lanka and Nepal got hit, leaving India between a rock and a hard place.
People, I ask to be a bit more serious in this thread, it looks like its developing into a situation where you might regret having poked fun at it.
Lets strive to make this topic information dense.

Today, Hubai province has more confirmed cases than the world had yesterday.
So far China is containing it nicely, but this graph shows how brutal things get once the infection takes hold.

1-2 vs 107 / 4474 at its early stage, real alarming.

Better safe for the kids. Confirmed cases should have suspended school/classes.
