So since I have a myco quart, once I make my bulk substrate I should just use one myco quart of bulk, or a full quart of bulk?

youโ€™re overthinking it. I donโ€™t even really measure coir, Just eyeball it.

The difference between a myco quart and a whole quart is trivial when it comes to bulk sub. As long as you arent doing more than 2:1 youโ€™ll probably be fine.

It really doesnโ€™t matter man youโ€™re talking a handful of coir difference.

Just keep in mind the less coir the faster it colonizes which prevents contams.

Thatโ€™s the main point here.

Okay, so that means itโ€™s just going to by a small thin substrate in my shoeboxes then?

Also, just do coir you think? No verm this time? Just coir is better so it doesn't get more bacteria? And don't pour a lot of boiling water this time? I used Damien's 50/50 before.

It doesnโ€™t matter.

Its not 50/50 its damion5050โ€™s coir tek. The ratio is actually closer to 80/20

How long should I expect a quart of coir and verm bulk substrate to colonize fully? before thatโ€™s another sign  these jars wonโ€™t be successful. Or will these even fruit anything? What should I expect?

Not necessarily.  You might actually get some big ones fast if it decides the contam is too much and emergency pins.

This was from one of my worst spawn jars.

Only made it the one flush but glad I didnโ€™t toss it. I could see globs of bacteria on the sides and bottom of the sub while it was pinning lol.
