We are on my fellow hunters. Spotted P.cubensis popping up in some of my spots west of Newcastle today. Wasn’t expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. Had no tools of the trade to get picking on hand. Standby, will head back over the weekend and put up some pics.
Happy Hunting and let the fun begin.

Saw from distance but turns out they’re only Antillarums

Found these bad boys in a paddock near mine. 90% sure they are P.Cubensis but hasn't been any bluing. Does that mean there is no psilocybin content?

Yeah those aren’t cubes. Cubes’ veil will be a purpley colour and will bruise a bit. Also the tops of them will be gold like the ones I have above.

I found some pan. foenisecii but no pan cyans yet either. Found like a thousand non active ones at a local park on new turf. So at least mushrooms are growing.

Hey, wanted to ask if it was worth hunting around the Sydney area? Not sure if it is the right conditions or not with humidity etc. I’m out west so plenty of paddocks with cows in them but want to be sure it is worth my time? Cheers, P.

Wouldn’t hurt to go have a look in those paddocks. You may stumble upon gold.

I think I found some but I couldn’t get them yet. A little pony paddock on a main rd. They look like pans but I couldn’t jump the fence with that many cars driving past and the house next door all lit up. I’ll have to come back when it dark. Only went out to grab some takeaway and seen them driving past so pulled over on way back. Hope they are still there later.

I went for that walk and found these.. not what I want by the looks of my research but I wanted to ask a question.. can there be different species in the same paddock? Like, is it useful for me to look in each corner of the paddock if in the first corner I have no luck?

Yeah that’s nothing active you have. But yes, it is worth it to scan the whole paddock, corners, look under trees too, etc.
