Not 10 clicks within the shire, no. Temperature is not low enough for consistent time to fruit. You may get small Eucalypt cold patches in valleys where moisture can coalesce but again I don't think its cold or wet enough.

I’ve found a literal couple of subs in Wollongong last season, found in a pile of wood debris in a semi shaded section of creek. Hope that helps.

No Pan Cyan fruit off of dung. Subaeruginosa you can find in pine plantations.
Pine plantations or eucalypt woodlands in the blue mountains or woodchip mulched beds in Sydney suburbs.

Hey, Thanks so much for the reply. Ive never tried subaeruginosa. Any advice with these? At the moment the weather seems to be perfect for a hunt within the next couple of days around sydney and the blue mountains, humid and rainy and a good amount of sun in the next few days

Thanks man,
I had a look around today in a few patches of parkland and national park. Nothing there but I guess it’s still too warm. With this cold snap I reckon if there’s anything around it’ll come out in the next week or so provided there’s rain. With the laws relaxing as of today I might have to go visit the granny in the blue Mountains.

Not Subs. It does look like Galerina. It's either that or another inactive.
Make a ID request thread next time so you can get a trusted identifier to have a look at them.

Found in Brindabellas, ACT, 3 days after 30mm rain. 96g ww.
Also found these little goobers growing out of some poo. They look a lot like Sub pins but they have a weird slippery pellicle all over. Wonder what they are.

Nice subs dude. Those other ones i think are Protostopharia semiglobata. Dont think they have pellicle.

I've just been trying to work it out and the closest match seems to be Hypholoma fasciculare. Can anyone confirm?

Hey guys, im just getting into foraging mushrooms and not quite sure where to go in the Newcastle area, if anyone could DM me and help a noobie out that would help a lot, thanks (Edit: i went out today to try and find some in a paddock where there was plenty of cow dung by some trees, the Temperature was 13C and foggy when i went out, there was plenty of moisture in the air and the dung. it had also rained the night before. but for searching for sometime i gave up with no sign. Im getting quite curious as to where to them. i also found some white leaves around some dung i was wondering if that has anything to do with some been there previously.(see Attached Image))
Any tips will be greatly appreciated
