Yeah man, west has been the go. I’ve found P. cyanascens out Salt Ash, Bobs Farm way, but no cubensis. I have only found cubensis growing in Couch grass too. Don’t know if it’s a coincidence, but they seem to love it more than other grasses

Interesting. I've only found pan cyans too. I hardly get time to hunt so I'm putting more effort into cultivation. First flush of b+ grew a few fruits then it got trich so it's out in a planter out the back.

Don't eat black Psilo cyans. From what I understand it can be black pin bacteria iirc that produce neurotoxins which is apparently the reason for the 'woodlover paralysis' phenomenon. This may require eating larger amounts and usually occurs with higher dosages but of course the amount of bacteria and how much of the toxin they produced can also vary per case. Ofc they may turn black for other reasons but that would obscure inspection for black pin spots. Not sure but drying with heat may break down the toxin. Even if not, using a dehydrator seems like it can be a good idea even if not just to dry quickly enough for any infection of the bacteria which seem to really like these sorts of mushrooms and probably hang around on them or in them in trace numbers when they are alive and fresh.

 Are you referring to these?

Hello everyone, hoping to see lots of beautiful finds this season! I heard the call and did a little exploration, nice and moist out there but still pretty warm, was able to find a nice mature subaeruginosa.
I found these guys in one of my spots, they are growing from what appears to be kangaroo dung? (among pine) I think it's a long shot to call these papuana, I know nothing of them and are going off my references photos I grabbed from Heyowana, what do I have here?

Hi guys, hoping to make a trip to the Brindabellas near ACT in the coming weeks if we get a bit more rain.
Bravo on the photos bobwastaken, real beauties.

Should be nominated in the March photo thread. Its true what you say about Subs and bracken fern.

Hi everyone. I was supposed to be heading to Bali for a surf trip on the 18th but clearly can’t travel at the moment. Will potentially be doing a coastal camping trip between Newcastle and Crescent head.
Will that be too late to be finding Cubes up there?

Looks like I’ll have to put that idea on ice until next season. Can’t really justify the travel at the moment.
