Agar fruit (matured) into LC advice/question
    #26440538 - 01/18/20 05:05 PM (4 years, 29 days ago)

Hey ya'll,

Quick question here. I have some Agar made up from some fruit tissue in the past and transferred down a few times.

Anyway, life got busy and I let them be. Recently checked and two of my jars have some. Pins and fruits that have grown and matured. One even dropped spores...

Question is... I have some lc ready to go - can I just pluck a fruit and drop it in lc or would it be better to take the interior section like one would normally do.

(my original plan was to drop Agar wedge into the lc.. But I think an actual fruit is better deal)

I'm unsure if a little fruit could end up rotting in the lc tho over time.

I would stick to your original plan. Agar wedge to LC.
