 Spore print contam?

Hi everyone
I just went on making my first syringe from a spore print, from macrolepiota procera that I collected a few months back.
However, when I opened the foil I sensed a kind od a yeasty smell eminating from the print.
Is it possibile to have a contaminated print but idk how there isnt any organic matter on it

Its definitely possible. Spores are organic matter.
Most prints, especially wild prints, will have some tag along microbes/spores as well. The only way to know for sure is grow them out on some agar.
I'd be a little surprised if there was enough on there to give off a clear smell though.

Probably wasn't dried before storage

It was kinda moist when I removed the caps, but I thought that it was going to evaporate since leaving the foil open for the print to completely dry out would bring in more contaminants no?

UPDATE:
I put a whole 10cc syringe into my 300ml water and 12g of honey solution and it took quite a while, more than 7 days. And this is what I see today.
 
Is this positive?

You're still going to need to run an agar plate or a test jar to know if that is clean.
