Spore mixing?

As I understand the lifecycle of mushrooms, when a spore germinates, it is haploid, and requires the hyphae to combine with the hyphae of another spore before a mycellium that will bear fruiting bodies is produced. I got my first spore syringes from PF a long time ago, and now I find vendors all over the place, and they have all of these different "Strains" of psilocybe cubensis. My question that I have is; Will the hyphae of one "Strain" combine with the hyphae of another strain to form a hybrid?
-------------------- Time gets much more valuable the older I get, and no matter how much money I spend, I can't get a second of it back.

One will fight off or try to out-compete the other.

Yeah, theyโre all cubes.
Pretty sure mixing spores isnโt quite advanced enough for this section.

That is pretty much my thinking. I apologize if this is the wrong forum for this question. I thought that it was a science question about the sexual reproduction of different "Strains" of ps. Cubensis. Thank you for replying.

Mr. Bolete probably misread the question. If you mix completely different species, this is likely to happen.
