EthicalEthos said: You guys like grateful Dead but then act like a bunch of nerdy dicks. Think y'all are missing the whole point of the gathering. Love you guys even if y'all are egotistical arrogant turds. .... Always time to change
What is the point of the gathering other than the music??
Last night I was having a conversation with a fellow head and he told me that he "wasn't a Brent guy". We then debated and laughed about what different Dead we liked and thought was better.
There is nothing more fun for me than nerding out with someone else that really loves the music like I do and I guarantee that there is ALWAYS common ground found when these conversations are had.
What are we supposed to just love The Dead so there for we love everything they ever did? Thats just not reality.
We can all agree that the reason we love the music is because it speaks to the soul.
The Grateful Dead is the soundtrack to my life.
The Music Never Stopped...

Early 70's jams are brilliant portraits of chaotic beauty, true works of art.

Bout to dose some early morning atl7s here soon enough, but I'd surely chew on some of them sunshine...them reds were very nice too, but only had a couple of them. Still have a few blues left. Just plain old WoW does it for me though. Nice stash.

Make acid a dollar a hit again. :Trump:
No trump graem? Leem.
So people are saying that Billy stopped playing dead songs after he jammed with Bob last. And if anyone recalls that "fake" story claiming that Bill K had heart problems and they would have to end sooner than later. Idk I think it's all related. And I bet something big will happen with Billy. But either way, after dead and co , there should be another leading grateful dead act right? A place where the dead heads and those super into the culture will connect and gather nonetheless?
Cause there was like further, then the dead, then the fare the we'll tour, then like a 2 year break, then 5 or 6 years of co, this can't be then end?!?!

Enjoying this WOS presentation, must say they do such a great job with cleaning things up.
Mad love for Pig, more about the opener. Something that I never investigated, yet am bothered by, are the pedo refs. I can't believe this hasn't been discussed in exhaustion, perhaps even here.
What is the deal with 'Goodmorning Little Schoolgirl?' And I think it's 'El Paso' where Bobby laments of his girl that's just 14. Just off top of my head. Anyone?
Regardless, great 3/29/68 San Fran show:
*finished and highly recommend!

BES, always wondered the same. Thought maybe it was about painting a picture of degeneracy, at least with mexicali blues. Been picking up on this with other musicians of this era also the older I get.

People wanted $2000 for floor tickets at the casino. When I tried to buy tickets everything was sold out except obstructive view behind the stage and they wanted like full price for those which I wasn't doing. Trey sucks anyway
