Any of you phish heads got a recommendation for a Phish song that would be cool to learn on the acoustic.
I've been playing alot bluesy folly type stuff. Doc, grateful dead, Billy strings. Some other non folk songs I play kinda folly, like santeria by sublime. But any good songs, with nice lyrics that might be worth trying? Open to many and any recommendations.

Do I have to use Barre chords or could I play them all open or whatever? I could learn them easy for sure I've just finally got most of the regular chords down. I do that for alot of songs and I know I'm kind of limiting myself but I get confused sometimes when I'm reading chords if it's a Barre or standard ah. I mostly just use the guitar tabs app...
Thanks tho man I'll check those out!

try not to get over technical. Those tabs are made to get the feel for the songs and what Key it in, usually 3/4 chords this way, add another few that way, explore that, and find whats more comfortable for you. Play what makes you happy.

They rarely play acoustic, they did at indio festival 8 and that set list would be a good start

Back on topic, has anyone else heard the "play all night" dude?
Listening to 76 oakland october 9/10 dick's pics vol33 mid way through drums he says it a couple times. I have also heard same thing on later 70s winterland.
Pretty sure it is the same dude, he sounds so pumped and he just says "play all night, play all night" urging the dead to play all night. Idk where dude is but he was at some epic shows

Sounds fun but, no. Seen them a few times and walked away feeling like they had all the ingredients plus some in terms of vocals but lacked a substance which I wanted to return to, great cover of half step though, but the original content failed to connect with me.

im goosemas nugs subscription. Id met them a few year back 2019 thinking meh they a cover band.. WRONG.. RICKY and PETER are amazing musicians. missing their start up works. Their cover of John Pine.. jfc. Wish I got a more personal .. other than "whats up?" . Many bands that come across the theater in the rocks stop in Hollowoods music. its only a few doors up..
I recently met Tommy Emanuel .. gave us a few minutes a free concert in the music store.

I used to like PPPP when they would play dive bars or like late night cabin sets at worm Town or something. Now that they're popular it's just stupid. Now it's all about P(x3) and birb ribs
