Will do ...
I'm listening to the tail end of the show at Red Rocks back in July, it took me a couple days to listen to the whole thing lol.
But dang!...That show (7/13/21 @ Red Rocks) is no doubt up there with one of my favorites (in regards to live shows/concerts in general regardless of genre), I liked it a lot! Had some magic to it for sure and gave me all sorts of feels.
Now I see what y'all are saying about that Billy Strings cat...dude has some talent for sure, gosh dang.
-OM
.
Ya those red rocks were truly epic, I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking thay was special.
You know what's wierd tho, coming from the mouth foam billy guy, I don't think his studio stuff I'd great. I personally like tin foil and turmoil turmoil dust in a baggie more than anything on his new album, and anything he covers the dead with is truly epic. And that's really what makes me wonder what will happen with him... I mean he slays it when he plays dead, and he can clearly improvise like a boss. His live stuff is where it's at and I love how he can incorporate a little metal feel with those drive pedals and shit.
And ya that Hawaii Luao whatever the fuck set it was is really good too.
I can't lie I say JGB with Melvin seals. And Melvin didn't even sing or anything, to be honest I was dissapointed. And I say that because when I see billy on Friday I'm almost guaranteeing it to be epic. But idk no guarantee he plays dead. But it is his only show in Oregon and Oregon is known for its dead fam. I mean shit there's a jerry garcia statue at the venue, the Grateful Dead recorded at another venue by the same owners. We will see, either way I know it will be good, but how good.

I dont get much into cover bands. IF I wanted to listen to covers, Id play the guitar myself. But this one hits hard. Most amazing Mountains of the Moon I ever heard.. Mikaela Davis & Southern Star

I will take you home is the last line from Ripple, if that helps things make sense. The whole song is great, but I agree with stagger that the moment of that particular line is very special.
