Found growing on mulch bark dust
Cone shaped at first growth then flatten out as mature
Gills brown forgot to check what type
Growing in bunches not far from each other

Better lit pictures would help.
Gills appear to be free, adnexed  or emarginate, cap appears to be hygrophanous and striate with fairly thin context. That’s all I can make out from the pics. It rules out a lot, but that doesn’t narrow it down much. It’d also help to know whether the stem is fragile or sturdy and if it has any bruising or texture.

If I had to guess, I’d say Tubaria furfuracea but again, hard to say for sure with the pics.

Looks too dark for that. But then the picures are too dark, so I'm hesitant with giving a suggestion.

We demand better pics!! A dark ring around the stipe is one telltale sign of a deadly galerina.

Definitely. For some obscure reason, people often appear to think that putting your mushrooms indoors in the shade will result in better pictures.

Not really. The ring in Galerina marginata, if it is present, will usually be covered in rusty brown spores.
It there is a dark ring, it usually signifies a dark spored genus, like for instance Agaricus or Stropharia.

In this one I can't really see a ring, maybe a fibrillose annular zone but again due to the picture quality it's hard to say.
I'm inclined to think this is a dark spored species, however, looking at the gills.

Interesting about the dark ring.

:mindblown:

This guy talk a ton about how to ID a deadly galerina in this video as well as others in his YTube channel:

Indeed. Proper lighting is absolutely critical when trying to ID a mushroom in a photo.

I though that could be a possibility but the gill attachment and thinness around the margin didn’t seem quite right.

It helps to use natural light outdoors for pictures of mushrooms

Yeah I’ll pick another for fun
But the immature ones were yellow I’m thinking it is galerina

That yellow clue changes everything.
How small was it?

If it’s a Galerina, I don’t think it’d be marginata and it looks too big to be one of the mycenoid looking ones.

This is what I think of when I think of a ragged old Galerina marginata. Did it look anything like that?

Depending upon the type of bulb used, some will distort colors. At least from my experience any ways.
