Koods, I just did a 2000 miles road trip around Alaska with budget.  Its unlimited miles and was only 252$ for a week with insurance and taxes.  I'm willing to pay a bit more if I have to. I wouldn't be able to make it hitch hiking

In Alaska? I went to Anchorage and road the train to Fairbanks.  I rented the car in Fairbanks and drove to Valdez, then Valdez to Anchorage,  then Anchorage thru Denali back to Fairbanks, then I went north of Fairbanks to prudhoe bay and back before I came back back to Seattle. Took like 5 days.  Now I'm on my way back to Alaska Dutch harbor via the boat.  I'll be back in April

Greece, italy, spain, the netherlands, the czech republic, some of the other eastern european countries, japan, south korea, china, russia, england, scotland, ireland, france, hell there's a lot of awesome places to visit. Australia, new zealand, I could go on. There's just too many cool places to visit and too little time and money to see them all.

Beyond that, what I'd really love to do is to spend some serious time in some of them rather than just stopping by for a few days. I'm a little jealous of people who live in the EU because it would make regularly visiting a ton of countries much easier.

Iceland.  You want a commune that is together as a nation in progressive ways.  I highly recommend it as well as hiking, worth it.  And also not as expensive as one might think.  From the tourist borough.  Lol.  Like they need that.

There are too many places I wanna go yall. I have a feeling I will be traveling places every summer and winter for the next few years.  I'm developing a cavity,  so I think once I'm done in Alaska, i must go to Texas to get this fixed.  Therefore, I'm planning to head west towards California.  I want to hit key points in Las Vegas, Sedona , Roswell, death valley , San Francisco?, possibly del Rio,  corpus christ and south padre.  I realize that not in chronical order..
Once I hit the west coast, I will travel north a bit and hit key points on the way back ; Yellowstone park in Utah,  skin Walker ranch in Utah,  towards Denver Colorado and head south back to Texas.

My summer break could be anywhere from 4-6 weeks, however its uncertain and plans could change. I could go anywhere or change directions at anytime

My main idea for death valley and Utah is that I wanna go somewhere to see the milky way..

For real yall, I'm excited about traveling and seeing what the world looks like!

LOL, I never heard it called that. However after being on the open road for a while and meeting fellow travellers you'll often hear them say 'they caught the bug'.

Only time and money limits how far and wide I would go in my time here. I've travelled a lot, and I was with friends in their 60/70's a few nights back and they've travelled a LOT, and they had this scratch off  where you've been type atlas on the wall.

Put it into good perceptive. Even in a lifetime spent going as far and wide as possible, you're only ever going to see but a fraction of what is.

A major bonus is also that it pulls one out of thinking one knows all about the world - which, via the power of the media - I think a LOT of us seem to think they do.

Run, Forest, Run!!

I read it like that too, then i read hes going to Texas to get it fixed. I kinda wish he meant he was getting a "cavity" to travel. Its oddly fitting to the metaphor.

Try not to get kidnapped.  But coke is really cheap when you are there from a post on the shroomery.  Made me laugh.  I HAVE THE PUREST COKE FOR NEXT TO NOTHING BUT DO NOT COME, basically since he was a local from there.

Not a chance in hell I would go there but to each their own.  I just don't want family involved.  Same with Mexico and it has gotten pretty bad from when I went to Ensenada.

The joke about leaving a mile outside your resort.  Kind of based in reality nowadays.  But whatever to each their own.  Roll the dice.  One feels alive and out of slumber.  I pass.

Scotland--to see where my ancestors came from and immerse in the culture and just to go there.

Ireland--same as above.

Japan--I am fascinated with that culture, and really want to see a live sumo match.

Germany--I want to see that architecture in person, plus see that slapping lederhosen dance performed by large bear men!

France--because it's France!

Italy--same as France!

Iceland--I'm interested in the place Bjork is from, plus it has an air of mystery to me, I must go!

Switzerland--I must go!

The whole fairies and mystical creatures etc...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hulduf%C3%B3lk

Huldufólk[a] or hidden people are elves in Icelandic and Faroese folklore.[1][2] They are supernatural beings that live in nature. They look and behave similarly to humans, but live in a parallel world.[3] They can make themselves visible at will.[4]

In Faroese folk tales,[5] hidden people are said to be "large in build, their clothes are all grey, and their hair black. Their dwellings are in mounds, and they are also called Elves."[6]

Some Icelandic folk tales caution against throwing stones, as it may hit the hidden people.[7]

In current-day Iceland, the overwhelming majority of the population does not take the idea of hidden people seriously.[8] Árni Björnsson [is], former director of the ethnological department of the National Museum of Iceland, suggests that some of those who claim to believe in hidden people do so since it is sure to pique the interest of the mass media.[9] The Icelandic Road Administration has called the media's reports about building and road projects being altered to prevent damaging the rocks where hidden people live[10][11] a misrepresentation.[12][4]

Plus Bjork. I love me some Bjork!
