Nobodycare said: Spawned 4 of the 6 jars this morning. Still waiting on 1 of the other 2 jars to finish colonizing and ill spawn them to a shoebox as well. The 4 I opened today didnt have much of a smell at all from the jars but did have the strong muchroom smell when mixing into the sub. I usually let the tubs colonize for 10 days before casing with a very thin top layer of oven sterilized verm and move into fruiting. Ill keep you posted how it goes. Thanks for all the help.
Good luck bro... as long as all your other shit is in check I dont see why you couldn't get an oz from each jar...

Checked on the first shoeboxes today. The tek I use states to let the sub colonize for 7-10 days before moving to fruiting. Ive always just done the 10 days and never peeked at the progress until today. Today is day 7 for these 2. They smell and look ok but im assuming the would need the remaining 3 days to fill in and be completely white across the top right? Or should they be fruited now? You guys see any obvious issues with these right now in terms of bacteria/contam?

Looks good to me.
I’d definitely fruit them, no need for a solid white surface.
Did you put a top layer of coir or just mix and level?

Yeah, it said to use a top layer of coir only over the mixed sub so thats what Ive always done. So is there any benefit to giving them the 10 days over 7? This would be considered fully colonized? Would it take 3 days longer to fruit?

I love the top layer it helps a lot for me.
Most of the time people here skip the colonization and go right into fruiting. Gets things done quicker and doesn’t hurt yield.
Lol I feel like this is the fifth time today I’ve written this post.
“Growing condition” hype man right here.

I’d call it 100%.
The only thing that caught my eye was the uncolonized strip on the left side of the one tub. Hopefully it’s just coincidence.
If you go straight to fruiting with a top layer usually instead of getting a surface like you have now, you’ll just get a bunch of knots on the surface with a little bit of myc.

Ended up getting lazy and just giving it the 3 extra days. That strip filled in pretty nicely in that time. Cased with a thin layer of oven sterilized verm and moved into fruiting today. Got one PESA and 1 box of B+. Other box of PESA should be coming out wednesday. They look pretty healthy. Should have no problem getting 1 flush from each I assume.

I’m not sure what people were saying at all; perhaps I am missing something; they look like 100% healthy jars. Btw, I’ve seen jars that had trich, also sour rot all over, they were left to devices and 100% recovery and ended up being MONSTER MYCELIUM, creating most potent cubes ever had.
So don’t listen to anyone. Especially not on this site. There’s a few decent people. Not many. If that comment offends, then I’m talking to you, if not then not. Bite.
Your shit looks amazing dude.

Yep you can put them into fruiting from day one.
Something looks off about that last one though, not sure why. It looks a little dry to me too but it’s hard to tell in pictures.

Think im seeing an issue now with one of the first two. Seems as though it's turning more patchy than knotty, and I see at least one pin that looks mutated. Last time I saw this it was turning green within a few days.

All is well that ends well. Got a few mutants in the B+ box but overall not too bad. Thanks for all the help.

Yeah, where do these people come from? How dare anyone say anything about anything unless it’s within the preset margins of perfection within their perception. GFY
