I feel ya man. I just wouldn’t want anyone here to experience jail time over a safe natural drug that grows in our backyards. Shit is lame but it is what it is.

But they do. Its not so much THEM as it is someone else sees it and reports you to police. There's still alot of people who don't accept what we do and won't miss an opportunity to "put our hippy asses in jail"

I’m sure you’re referring to me In this instance. I definitely thought about it twice but my excitement got the better of me. How ever I only posted a picture of a mushroom growing in grass. I definitely didn’t pick it. Heck I don’t even know what kind of mushroom it is....but in all seriousness I will 100% refrain from posting any public pictures of any questionable fungi findings in the future. Thanks for the call out! Lol.

Cross posting definitely draws attention- could go both ways. I happened to find a good ass friend because of their cross posts. However, I do agree that if you choose to do so, do it wisely. I’m a fan of anonymity.

I’ve done a lot a searching and couldn’t come up with much. But has anyone done any hunting in bartow county? I find it hard to believe they grow abundantly in Cherokee, a bordering county but not in bartow.

I found my first one last weekend in Fulton county. But that’s too far to check frequently. Guess I need to put bartow on the map.

Yeah stick to your area man you'll find them there. I used to think i had to travel north to cobb/cherokee and wasted a lot of gas and time doing so. Now my best spots are all within 15 min of me.

The very desire to hunt them means they’ve already infiltrated your psyche and you’re being led to them :mushroom2: 👻👻👻

They’re not as pretty as everyone else’s, but they will do the trick.  Couldn’t get Insitu shots do to being a ton of people around and little paranoid I guess after the previous conversation.

These were actually in grass on a downward slope, but they are drying up, so the grass on them kinda looks like straw.  Even the grass was crunchy and dry, but it’s like that right now by me. I didn’t even expect to find them, but something inside me said to keep on looking.  Hahah. Love these things!!

I must have missed them last time I was there.  They were tucked in real nice and camouflage to the tee..

dangit after all the research and post reading and days in the field im still only finding non actives im looking at border lines between trees and grass, bottom of slopes, under brush/pine straw by streams and ponds, sewer access trails, those power line swaths, bermuda/fescue lawns, deep woods, fallen trees, little pine forests, public parks i do dig i do find mycellium patches and lots of mushrooms like those big blue indigo milk caps and a bunch of those lacteralus(those ones that exude that white stuff lol hella boletes and some gigantic agaricus' maybe my minds just trained to spot the wrong ones although im usually happy to just find a cool feather or spot a neat little snake the frustration of not finding any and this insatiable desire to find some is killing me! and probably annoying the shit out of my friends since its all i talk about now rofl
