I’m going tomorrow late afternoon. I’m going to hit up some flood plains looking for ovoids and morels. Might be too early? We did have a little rain a few days ago as well.

I have hope. They are finding them in more northern states than us. I have never looked into ovoids until recently. After reaaally researching them I feel like I have passed them by as a random mushroom before. I am always in their habitats fishing.

Sweet finds. I looked for about three hours along a river today for ovoids whiteout luck. I saw many other species but nothing that resembled them. Boy it’s like Russian roulette going through piles of limbs along the river. Am I going to get an ovoid or a copperhead? Haha I didn’t get either today.  On the way home, I stopped at a cow pasture and looked at some patties but also nothing. I am a bit north so it was a long shot but I really want some magic.

The hunt continues.

Found 3 ovoids today in Decatur. Checked two other spots with no luck. Was hoping there'd be more out after all this rain lately, but nope.

They dont last long enough to put in a freezer.  I microdose a lot. And take a good trip every now and then.  Give some to my buddies too.

I'm "essential" somehow so I haven't been able to hunt really at all. Quick hits on my lunch break here and there, a walk through a park before dark etc.

I know a lot of people are still working and most of us live the wage slave life but damn is it painful sometimes.

I'd let someone put there carc in my ass for a 4 day work week lmfao
