Very bittersweet day today. It was the last day of a very long month of moving. The most difficult move I've ever had by far. And in my last moments over at the Coweta place I went to pick up an item in my pasture and noticed these two. It felt very symbolic. I wasn't even hunting for them. So I brought them back with me to t the Carroll co place. Taking the spore print now. I'll hopefully spread them to my pasture here.

Same here. I keep checking them just in case but I feel like I might be wasting my time checking since it seems like they’re tapped out for the fall.

That is very cool-looks like they wanted to go with you. Good luck on finalizing your move!

Thanks! It was hard. Not just moving a house either. We had a whole homestead operation as well. Took every ounce of my time between work and day to day tasks. And call me crazy but I do believe in some level mushrooms do have us help them and vice versa. I'm exhausted. I'm ready to put my focus on living life to the fullest at the new place.

Anyone had any luck finding Weilliis in Fannin County? I have looked on and off for several years with no luck but they are on the Wikipedia map in this county and the unseasonably warm weather and hurricane rain makes me want to try again. Thanks in advance and good luck in your searches!

I've been hunting for 7 years and lurked on here for a while, so I figured I'd join the conversation finally. The only actives I've found previously were psilocybe cyanescens back when I lived in SF. Been on the hunt for Weilli ever since I moved back but no luck.. Lot's of reishi and chanterelles though
I find lutes fairly often, but the other finds pictured are my first psilocybe since I've been back. I've been reading and trying to figure out what kind exactly they are, but am having trouble placing them..
Hope everyone's doing alright after the storm, I was in cobb that night and it about scared the pants off of me.

You have a mied collection of Hypholoma and Gymnopilus, the Gyms are the only ones that are active.

I think the low humidity these past several days has taken a toll on the fruits. Very slim pickings in my area.

Yeah man that dry wind is a killer. Theres some decent looking weather on the horizon though so maaaayyyybe we can get some more hunting in before those hard freezes. I hope to at least get 1 more good harvest for my B-day in a few weeks... its not looking that promising right now though

I have some Caerulescens colonized cardboard and I'm not sure what I should do with it. A couple months ago I buried some in a couple spots but I'm unsure if I should try something new with this batch. Any suggestions?

Will caerulescens go from cardboard to woodchips? I know it's not a traditional woodlover, but I'm just wondering what would happen. Maybe try to get the myc going on hydrated chips indoors over the winter. Then mix the colonized chips with more hydrated chips and potting soil in a pot and move it outdoors in the spring.

I confirmed this is Psilocybe sublateritia / Hypholoma sublateritium, and edible Some call them Psilocybe sublateritium Or Hypholoma lateritium / Psilocybe lateritia But they seem to be the same, I'm wondering if psilocybe means psycidelic
im wondering if they are psycidelic if anyone can let me know that would be great I found them in a cluster of 9, purple spore print, grey gills, red cap,
They did not bruise blue though
