Lurking. & went to the beach for two weeks. & I will always disappear to an extent during fantasy football season. When I start posting again you can bet I’m prob out of contention for the year. & the pup is almost 7 months old so it takes a lot more time to wear her out. All kinds of shit.

I've checked just about every park Alpharetta through Milton and havent found shit. Idk where else to look that doesn't involve trespassing on private property.

Some monsters from yesterday.  Let them go one more day and they got a little bigger and a lot more waterlogged... 70g between the 2.  The biggest ones I’ve found so far.  Around 36g a piece!  Crazy

Keep looking!  If they aren’t popping today, they will be soon.  These couple of spots that have been on fire for me are usually not flushing when most other spots are.  It’s kinda weird, but it seems to always fruit opposite of most patches. There is going to be a good flush in most patches soon. I am seeing them in the open grass with no shade now, so  keep on keeping on brother.

Oh, and there is plenty of new business construction (2-8yrs old) out that way. Just don’t look sketchy when hunting in the open,

Unfortunately couldn't capture more pics, memory card issues. Here is the lone blurry pic I got. There were many moldy clusters like this one

Found a new patch a few days ago, I think I may have picked a few Hyphs too, but I ended up just keeping the little one that started out with the greenish bellshaped cap and the thicker one, they both bruised like a mofo.

Got some weilii lc outside (that i had started from a print from doc) before this rain tho. put them in an area where it was bulldozed about 3 years ago behind my house, on a slope and in the reddest of red clay, getting some pine straw to go on as a casin layer too to keep it nice and good under there, altough its got a good bit of vegetation already.

Put 2 quarts in about 6 places on the hill, who knows i might end up with some caerulescens one way or another  got em on agar and used a tad bit of the LC to make noc up 2 oat jars that seem to actually have recovery already

It seems like the stripe is the dead giveaway for those not being weilii, is there any other way to tell? Asking because I'm new to this and at first glance they really do look like weilii

Yeah, I guess it’s just the more you see them the more you realize they aren’t actives.  I don’t even bend over for those jokers anymore.  Lol.  If you see them turned up like some of your pics then you can tell it’s gonna have light spores.  Weilii gills are darker-cream colored when young and dark brownish/purple Once mature.  The gills on your pic are too light,  and the stipe like you mentioned, is way different.  You will get an eye for them!
