The lower level looks like the mycelium has grown though. There are tiny bits of coir that in the sides that have white fluff... could that be myc. Hmnnn on a tiny bit of coir? (I’m sure all of you who have mastered this are shaking your heads with disappointment and disapproval)

Being adhd having issues with working memory, it should be easy for me to “set and forget”... Obviously OCD has yet to be diagnosed.

When to pop the lid? I have overgrowth I think. I am sooo bad at this... bloody impatient and impulsive. I think ADHD means I’m not a farmer.... I’m a hunter!

I’m gonna be honest...
There was over growth, probably due to me not leaving it alone I misted... it looked dry. There I said it. Then there was over growth, and I freaked out... Shroomery was down (my life line to myco sanity) And I impulsively chucked dry coir on it...
It now looks like this

1. Do I leave it and see what happens? 2. Break it up and transfer it to more shoeBoxes with a mix or hydrated manure pellets and coir? 3. Break it up and transfer it to more shoeBoxes with a mix or hydrated manure pellets and coir, and brf&verm? 3. Give up stick to PFtek (don’t really want to)?

Dude chill
It looks fine (healthy) but pretty dry. Mist a little on top and leave it alone till tomorrow. The mycelium will probably colonise all that top layer. Overgrowth or matted mycelium is something different, like this:

mushboy said: those are not matted they are just dry. you think they are matted probably because you listened to undergrad y in that other thread.
this is matted.

Breathe!

It kind of looked like that but not as bad... snowflaky..
If that over growth snowflakiness due to not enough FAE, too much misting 🤷🏻♂️

Sounds like you need to smoke a joint and relax. You've posted 7 posts in the last 3 hours here basically talking to yourself and gradually losing sanity
Patience (and ability to resist one's urge to constantly fiddle and micro manage the grow) is one of the most important skills in mycology.
In many scenarios if the contamination has got hold of the mycelium not much you can do will fix it (you really can only fix cobweb mold) - so you can wait it out and hope some fruits still happen or just start again.
