When I sterilize agar though, Ill do mulitple bottles, then just warm them up in the microwave to melt them down for pouring.
I did not know one could do that.

I pour 20 or 40 at once because I have sleeves of 20's
Generally I do stacks of 10. I always pour in stacks because it seems if you get the temp down to ~115F and pour in stacks, only the top 1 or 2 get bad condensation.
Then sometimes I just leave them in the flow for an hour or two before wrapping to help get rid of some of the condensation.
The hot mug trick works well too, if needed. I actually need to pour a bunch of agar today I have like 4 blanks left.

Brian Jones said: A sleeve holds 20 and Bodhi says that's the right amount for a 500ml media jar filled up to 400ml. I usually end up with about 24 and probably need to pour some a little thicker.
Pouring 20 is very convenient because they fit back in the bag, and also so you can finish while the agar is still liquid. I was pouring at 120 degrees and then 118, but I'm going to try it lower next time and try to reduce condensation. Bodhi's video has a system of pouring large stacks from the bottom but I tend to screw this up, and am looking for other ways to reduce condensation. Putting a flat bottomed cup of hot water on top of a plate is supposed to work but I haven't had much luck with that either.
Condensation is a matter of external and internal temps being different. I pour my plates, wrap with cling wrap, then store them flat in a ziploc bag. The condensation goes away overnight.

Are you storing them at room temperature? I've been putting them in the refrigerator. Maybe that's the problem.
Room temp.

However, I leave mine stacked in my SAB - the top ones usually lose their condensation in a few days.
Also, note that many clear storage bins used for SABs don't have the clearance for a 20 stack, so you'll have to delicately unsheathe them at an angle. That pretty much limits me to pouring only 40 at once comfortably - any more it feels like you might start knocking shit around try to get them out of the sleeve.

Usually 20 but right now I’ve got 5 new varieties from spore so recently more like 40. I generally use them all and only keep a couple sitting around un inoculated for “emergency transfers” or cloning.

It works just fine. It's all in Bodhi's tek. You have to completely melt them and then let them cool to 120 degrees or a little less. It's easy but you have to keep constant observation of the microwave while doing it with the lid loosened. I just put on an oven mitt and nuke them for a while, tighten the lid and shake, loosen the lid and repeat till you get to 180 degrees.
