I agree. We don't care about justice or fairness or even loss of life. We care about stability, and at the moment drugs are pretty much fueling our economy. Cartels are killing by the thousands but not us, and not anyone useful to us. We don't care if America bombs some shit hole with crazy ideals halfway across the earth. But our neighbors, that shit feels real. It's a hard sell to the American people

That’s part of the reason I was going as hard as I was during the “epidemic/vape deaths”.  Not strictly because I’m all about that hardcore vape life yo but because it was a perfect example on how the US govt uses taxes, propaganda, scare tactics, the news channels and hella blatant lies to get it’s way.  Usually they camouflage their methods pretty well but I feel like they had to move in a hurry with the vape thing and didn’t cover their tracks really well so not only was it immediately obvious but all the peripheral things like them wasting millions of tobacco tax dollars that are completely unaccounted for, which tax payers will make up the difference for, became obvious too.  All of it is a fraud, shit’s make believe... all except for the brick wall that we’re all about to slam into full speed.  The brick wall is real.

USA knows how to stop the cartels in their tracks . Legalize all drugs without discrimination as to which ones should remain illegal.

I've thought this before. It would definitely stop the cartels from making money on drugs. But after thinking about it longer I Start to wonder if it'll actually just make things worse in other ways. Like maybe they would just start trafficking more humans from the U.S. or something to make up for all the lost drug money? I don't know. Legalizing all drugs seems like it could be a good idea for a lot of reasons. It would make it safer for those who use and might actually decrease the amount of people who choose to use. You get rid of that whole forbidden fruit effect. But I feel there might be unsuspected consequences if it happens to fast. These cartels often times keep a close eye on thier clients-at least certain ones who end up getting heavily involved-and a lot of people might end up going missing without that financial source. It's definitely a complicated situation.

I’m all for legalizing drugs, but one thing has made me think there could be a few hitches.  The opiate epidemic, that proved that as a whole, there’s a lot of us that can’t be trusted to be responsible with things that carry a risk factor.  It’s the case of, an idiot blows his hand off with a firecracker and now none of us get to play.  A comparison would be guns, I believe guns should be legal and anyone should be able to possess them.....in a perfect world.  Thing is, we’re not in a perfect world so it fucks the whole thing up because there are certainly people I don’t want having a gun.  So, what do you do...?  I’m not real sure what the perfect answer is.

Fucking idiots are what should be banned/made illegal..

Basically, America can take Mexico at any time, and they just well damn might.

All it's going to take is several key drone strikes from city to city, and the entire nation of Maxico will fall the the USA.

AND AT LEAST THAT WAY people will stop being so racist towards people from Mexico.

One of my college friends was a Navy pilot. He retired as a commander, and now he works for the State Department in Mexico City fighting the cartels.

What the us needs to so is form a sort of allegiance with Mexico, do a little spring cleaning on both sides of the fence and as time goes on that fence becomes a little by little more obsolete.

Nobody is interested in fixing shit though they just want to sell out to the highest bidder, take the money and run.

I’m not saying take bro.  Imagine if the whole of N.America and S. America were an alliance.

I was watching this podcast and apparently China is buying up hella real estate in Mexico and even the Mexicans don’t like them because they treat the Mexicans like shit.  Apparently lithium is in Mexico and once cars go to batteries that’s where the new ‘oil wars’ are going to be.  I was only kind of half listening but that’s pretty much what they were saying.  I haven’t fact checked it.

They no longer hold on to massive amount of cash, they now have legit investments in real estate, stocks and other assets. Not only in Mexico.  The US also.

Idiot states that allow people to cross the US border illegally like California are helping the cartels to expand.  Many cartel members now have children born in the US creating a 2nd generation of cartel members that are legal US citizens.

Shit is out of hand.

If the cartels are desssignate terrorists, the US will be able to do missile strikes and send in the troops.

Only problem with that is if they become terrorists, Mexican citizens will be able to seek asylum in the US with the reason that they are under threat by terrorists.

5 years maximum in my opinion.

Thoughts?

sounds like you just got done watching the same joe rogan podcast that I did.

One of my favorite guests, he doesn’t talk in hypotheticals or some other nonsense, he’s been there.  Another guy that is an amazing guest is Ioan Grillo, check out his podcast on JRE.

No chance if you mean Troops there without the explicit permission of the Mexican government. The only reason the cartels are so powerful is the insane demand for drugs in America. We share a long border and it’s the best way for the drugs to enter. The Colombians got tired of getting busted and let the Mexicans take the front job of moving it in to USA. We change our drugs laws and the profits collapse and so does the violence and corruption. All the things you describe happened during the 20’s through the 80’s with the Italian mob in America. They even got a president elected in 1960. They took over entire police forces and mayors and ran every major American city. We didn’t invade Italy or ban Italian immigrants. We also have enormous trade with Mexico and if we messed with that both countries would slide into a major recession. Almost 700 billion a year in trade and major industries dependent on these supply chains and relationships after decades of NAFTA.
