Hopefully a TC will stop by
In regards to rick Run it, if the fruits arent growing the way you want them to you have a few weeks to think of solution that would provide light from above You know what resources you have, make do At any angle or stage the light will promote myc growth Use your current idea while spawning/colonizing. It wont have any negative consequence guaranteed. Fruiting is the only time I'd consider the direction of the light source questionable

Also, Bodhisatta says they know which way is up by sensing gravity, not the direction the light comes from so put your lights on the side if that works for you. It won't cause side pins unless your conditions were gonna cause side pins anyway
Why have my booms followed the direction of light in the past? Over the summer I had to rotate my monos for different sides to face my window(didnt have artificial lighting yet and there was plenty of natural) one of my tubs had a thick brown lid that didnt let light through. All the fruits would grow towards the outside of the tubs even the ones direct center I'm sure bod is right definitely think the light source plays a role in the direction of the grow
You’re not the only one.
Lights go on top🤷🏻♂️. They’ll penetrate a stack of 3 just fine. I have stacks of 5-6 and only use one bulb...the one in the ceiling lol

I just got some rechargeable 6500 leds that are magnetic off amazon. Somebody had posted a link in another thread about a closet grow.
They seem pretty cool so far.

Got two for i think 20 bucks.
