Hopefully first weilli of the year/last of the season.

Found these growing out and around huge, rotting and fallen tree.
I'm extremely new to hunting, so i'm pretty sure these are not Weilli, but i don't know for sure.
took a couple home to make a print, waiting for it now.

The gills are also free on your specimens and they're not like that will weilii

You won’t find weilii growing directly from wood like that either.

How about Pluteus exilis... Western Deer Mushroom? I've found many on my slopes. Don't know where OP is located.

He's apparently in Georgia, so P. exilis is unlikely.

Wow... didn't know that weilli is found only in northern Georgia (acc to Wikipedia).

And Ecuador and Costa Rica, too. I wouldn't be surprised if it grows in all of the Central American countries. I also heard it was found a few times growing in a vaulted cellar in Germany.
