Not sure where to correctly post tgis, so i'll start here..... I have taken some stembutts and mycellium laden chips from a batch of cyanescens i found, and spread them on wet cardboard and got some good growth going. Lots of healthy mycellium shooting out all over. i have added some alder chips and have it in a small glass container with a lid askew on top. My question is what now? Do i keep adding chips? Do i spread it on or under some chip beds here in sf? When is the best time to do this if this is what I should do? Any tek for this or a little help from someone who has successfully spread spawn this way......
I have had some success adding the mycelium to some chiopa in my yard that I have around the base of a lemon tree, but i want to spread these far and wide........
Thanks......

I highly recommend reading this thread: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/24673753#24673753
Once you get woodlovers down, they are pretty easy to grow. Fruiting them is a little bit tricky but I think Im getting it slowly.....

If you’re in the Bay Area you can put them in the ground now through spring. It all depends on how much spawn you want to lay. If your woodchip prep is on point you can continue to upsize when things consolidate. A lot of heads will recommend waiting for spring but I prefer to initiate spawn run as soon as possible after peak winter once night temps are consistently in the 40s. Microclimates are a huge factor down there. If your plan is to transfer to a public area that you cannot personally manage, be careful about where you choose to propagate. Shade patterns and irrigation are most important. If you spawn low ratio to a bed of chips that gets baked in the afternoon and never gets watered your chances of success go way down. If you have your own property and privacy, I highly suggest working up some flower pots or laying a bed. Smash that search function and do some homework!
