Dutch commercial sclerotia clone strain

So I went to Amsterdam and bought some sclerotia in a smartshop. The plan was to get Psilocybe Mexicana and the Galindoi variety of it to grow the cultures at home. Unforunately I did the mistake of buying the Mexicana as shredded pieces instead of whole truffles, so only the Ganlindoi were able to be cloned.

Here is how I plan to do it: Truffles > Agar > Grains (Rye) > Wait > Harvest sclerotia
A tiny piece of sclerotia was put on two dishes. They got contaminated af. Clean samples were transfered.

After finally getting clean growth over multiple transfers, I then took some back up plates and got to inoculating. The substrate used was rye prepared like RR does it, though gypsum and coffee powder was added before soaking.
A bunch 700ml jars were inoculated.
8 Months later, right before harvest

Harvest time All 10 700ml jars were harvested and yielded around 1300grams total, which stretched my bowl to it's limit. That's 1300grams from less than 7L. (Broken scale starts at 1KG)

Some big bois

I am really happy with how this strain performed, tho I don't have anything to compare it to yet, but oh well. Go out and clone if you have the chance.

Were you thinking about fruiting the culture?

Wow, that's awesome! Funny I did the same with the same strain.. Never got those huge stones but a lot of small ones. Also tried to fruit it. I never got it to not eat through the casing... I re cased 2 times and waited more than one and a half months.. Nothing happened.
I heard somewhere that the commercial truffle genetics are selected not to fruit, having to do something with legality or productivity.
Good luck! I would love to see some galindoi fruits

Hey my friend,
I would Like to ask, what temperature was your standard to have these sclerotia results. I am cultivating since 2 months, No sclerotia are forming out everytging is white mycelium and the volume of the rye berries is shrinking constantly while water / or transparent liquid is getting more and more at the bottom. My temperature is constantly 16-18 °C. One glass was shaked alot for colonisation, no sclerotia initialisation to See, other glass ist Younger (1 1/4 month) not shaked.
Would bei glad top get more information about possible failure I yet do not realize.
