Sadly I don't have anything to give for it. But that's probably why I don't have it. Likely if you've got enough to give then you've got it.

The role of being a “doer.” The strange attachment and familiarity that I have with my own neuroses and my own judgments of them. The fears that I have about being a whole human. Our demons are the hardest to love, our imperfections the hardest to accept without condition or need to change.
I laugh when people say Watts wasn’t enlightened because he drank.
Some of us like dissonant chords. An even flow of energy is that state of unconditional acceptance and gratitude for everything, every situation and person regardless of our little opinions. One can never point to where it’s not because it’s everywhere.
I’m a white-knuckler. I hope enlightenment will find me one day; it would be such a relief. I’m too young and stupid right now to really let go like that.

How about agreeing to stick around once your enlightened for a certain amount of time and dedicate that amount of time to teaching others and protecting the teachings

After we attain "moksha", it doesn't matter how or what we've gone through.
So I can give out anything or everything...
(except my individual soul, which is everything I have)
The question is.. Do I want it?

I think your right here with the question of do i want it? What happends when we think we want something and we THINK we know exactly what it is but turns out to be very very different. Many times in life we want something but turns out it is too much to handle. I think tho to answer the question we have to clearly define what moksha means. I havent done readings on all of this but there seems to be slightly different ideas about what it is from different traditions. to fully answer the question we need to know as much as we can about the question. what does it mean. How can you attain it. Are you sure its real? Will we ever know exactly what it is until we get there? Or is it one of those things we cant fully understand until it happends? Can the individual soul attain this and still be individual?

I don't know what Kosham means.
But I do know if I had to save someone, I would.
ANd then in my personal life I would be selfish where I did not have to save people.

I would be fine with continuing to reincarnate and assist until everyone has ascended and the hells are empty. Though if ascending will make it easier to achieve this end then I'll do it sooner.

It is told, that the answer is love. "Moksha" is love, and.. everything is love.... I do not agree with this.
Well, I don't understand what is love, or how to love. I always wanted it so badly, and always had good/honest intentions. Got rejected & tricked multiple times, of course.
If He is love, if everything is love.. Where the hell is it? I've been praying with my honest heart for some love/understanding, or at least for a little bit of selfless tenderness.
All for nothing. I only received false hopes, and then got more colder than ever.
_ I like and respect Him, but.. I dont know, I guess there is just something wrong with me.

Now that I think about it, I think I would give up Kama (sensual delights) Artha (material things) and even possibly Dharma (law), for Moksha (Liberation) has it's own laws in God and he will forgive non-observance of lesser duties (dharma) according to the Bhagavad Gita...

having said that..
I think the cost is a constant..in the ideas of salvation and enlightenment..
learning in eternity...
The cost therefore is devotion?

I don't believe God has any need to forgive, for he doesn't judge in the first place

I love this post. For someone calling themselves young and stupid there is much wisdom in your words.
